Make sure most of the fats you eat are unsaturated. It’s important to protect our hearts and arteries – why age them prematurely and needlessly? Given the choice opt for olive oils and fats from nuts or oily fish and avoid hydrogenated vegetable oils or saturated fats such as butter.

You Need Carbs, We All Do

These are your major energy source. My favorites – whole grains, fruit and vegetables. It took me a long time to give up white bread and replace it with wholewheat. I am so glad I did!

Stick To The Basics

Long lasting weight loss will not come from all the hype or following the latest fad diet. Your health and general well being depends on your weight. Don’t subject your body or your health to the latest trends, please.

Diet plans are an excellent idea. However, if you have not developed it yourself or with the help of your doctor or nutrionist, it may not suit you. If it doesn’t, if it is confusing or cannot be managed easily and effectively, please don’t follow it. Chance are you won’t see the real success you are looking for.

Hi my name is Edward and I lived a miserable life since I was thirteen years old when our family was torn apart by the divorce of my parents.
